The 2021/22 Children's Faith Formation program will be subject to all CDC and Diocesan guidelines
Saint Matthew Parish offers a traditional Children's Faith Formation/CCD program for families in the Etna, Glenshaw, Millvale, and Reserve Township area, for preschool through grade 8, sacramental prep for First Holy Communion and Confirmation.
Sessions generally run from the second week in September through the first week in May.
· Catechesis of the Good Shepherd (Pre-K & Kindergarten). Classes held either on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m. or Saturday mornings, 9:00-10:30 a.m. (Indicate choice below.) All classes held at the St. Bonaventure School Bldg. LIMITED AVAILABILITY
· RECOMMENDED: Family-Based Catechesis (1st – 6th Grades). Parents attend ONE SESSION A MONTH, then teach the children at home. Parent session held once a month on Tuesday evenings, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at Newmeyer Hall, beneath St. Bonaventure Church.
· In-Class Catechesis (1st – 6th Grades). Classes held either on Monday evenings, 6:30-8:00 p.m. or Saturday mornings, 9:00-10:30 a.m. (Indicate choice below.) All classes held at the St. Bonaventure School Bldg.
· Ignite (7th-8th Grade). Sessions held on Sunday evenings, 7:00-8:30 p.m., at the St. Bonaventure School cafeteria and Newmeyer Hall, beneath St. Bonaventure Church.
2021-2022 Tuition Schedule for Religious Education
St. Matthew Parishioners
$55 for the first student
$30 for each additional student with a cap of $115
Non-parishioners/outside of St. Matthew Parish
$80 for the first student
$30 for each additional student with a cap of $140
***$10 discount per student for early registration, March 1 – May 14, 2021. Full price after May 14th.***
Important: No child is denied faith formation because of financial obligation.
If you are unable to make the full tuition payment assistance is available. Please contact the Religious Education office at your site.
Payments can be made by cash or check. If paying by check, the check should be made out to St. Matthew Parish. You can pay on line at the following link.
