GERMAN MEMORIAL MASS AT HOLY SPIRIT On Saturday, October 26th at 4:00 pm, at Holy Spirit Parish, Millvale, the members of the G.T.E.V. D’Lustigen Isartaler Bavarian Club are sponsoring a “Gedächtnis Memorial Mass.” This is a Mass in the German language in thanksgiving and honoring all Americans of Germanic descent in the Pittsburgh area. All German clubs in Pittsburgh are being invited. Fr. Warren Murrmann, O.S.B., a Benedictine from St. Vincent Archabbey, will lead us in the Mass. ALL ARE INVITED!
Friday, November 1st, is the Feast of All Saints. It is a Holy Day of Obligation. The following Masses for the Holy Day will be celebrated in our Grouping 101: Thursday, October 31st – TWO VIGIL MASSES: 4pm at SA & 4pm at SB; Friday, November 1st – 6:30am at SB; 8:00am at AS; Noon at HS and 7:00pm at AS.
The Annual Mass for the Communal Anointing of the Sick will take place on Monday, October 21st at 6:30pm in Holy Spirit Church. It is open to members of all parishes, mostly especially those in our grouping, who wish to participate in the healing power of this great sacrament. Holy Spirit Christian Mothers will host and act as greeters, assist with the seating and provide a light reception following the Mass in the parish cafeteria. It is preferable that we receive the names of those to be anointed by calling the parish office at 412-821-4424. However, no RSVP is required for the reception. Walk-ins will be welcomed.
